Incubator: how I turn your idea into a prototype that survives
Straight answer: Most startups do not die from bad ideas. They die because they lack the right environment to survive the most vulnerable phase, gestation. I take you from idea to prototype through a 3-to-6-month process: diagnosis, business model, validation against the real market, and building your first functional prototype. No equity given up.
What incubating an idea actually means (and what it does not)
Between the concept and the prototype there is a gap of infrastructure, costs, and decisions you have no idea where to attack first. 90% of startups die in their first 12 months — not from bad ideas, but from a lack of structure and early support.
My job is the greenhouse: an environment that protects and nourishes your idea through gestation, minimising the risk of dying. I give you the method, the digital infrastructure, and the mentorship so your idea survives its most vulnerable phase instead of dying in the attempt.
What it is not: a coworking space. Risk capital. A recorded course you watch alone. It is an active support process where there is visible progress every week.
No equity taken. The incubation runs on membership, with no dilution for you.
How I do it: the process in 4 phases
1. Diagnosis and reception (weeks 1-2)
We evaluate your idea, your team, and your market. We analyse the viability of the concept and the commitment of the founding team. You leave with a clear incubation plan, not a loose list of tasks.
2. Infrastructure and protection (weeks 2-4)
We set up your digital working environment: base website, tools, measurement systems, and automation. I guide you through the legal constitution of your company and your trademark registration from day one, so the assets are protected before they grow.
3. Mentorship and validation (weeks 4-16)
We work with methodologies like the Business Model Canvas to test your initial hypothesis against the real market. Regular mentorship sessions and early validation to avoid investing in the wrong direction. If your idea evolves — and it normally does — we adjust the plan with you, quickly.
4. Prototyping and graduation (weeks 12-24)
We build your first functional prototype: a website or MVP you can show, test, and sell. You leave with a prototype validated by real users and a clear roadmap towards the next stage of your project.
Why this is different from what others offer
| The common approach | My approach |
|---|---|
| Incubators that ask for equity in exchange for capital | Membership without dilution: your idea stays 100% yours |
| Rigid 6-month programmes with a fixed format | Flexible 3-to-6-month process based on your progress |
| They onboard you and check in at month six | Visible progress and active protection from day one |
| They validate your idea “afterwards” | Early validation before you invest in the wrong direction |
| Generic infrastructure | Digital infrastructure built for your specific project |
Frequently asked questions
What kind of projects can enter the programme?
Projects at the idea stage or early prototype, from any industry. I do not require traction or prior revenue. I assess the clarity of the vision, the founder’s commitment, and the potential of the project.
How long does the programme last?
It is flexible: 3 to 6 months, depending on the initial maturity of the project and how fast the founding team moves.
Do you take equity from my startup?
Not during the incubation phase. The programme runs on a membership model with no dilution for the founder. Your idea and your company stay 100% yours.
Do I need a prototype to start?
No. I take on projects at the conceptual stage and help you build your first functional prototype during the opening weeks of the programme.
What happens if my idea changes during the incubation?
That is normal. The Business Model Canvas and the mentorship sessions are designed to let you pivot fast. If your idea evolves, we adjust the plan with you instead of forcing it down a dead-end road.
